TTT Ltd. engaged BIG to implement the phase 2 portion of the facility upgrade addressing the
overall conversion to High Definition format throughout the facility’s News, News Gathering
operations inclusive of the OB Van unit, Production operations and Traffic software at its
facilities in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
Areas addressed in this Phase 2 of the facility upgrade were as follows:

Radio Stations and TV Station have been on the air since early 2022.
Location: Oranjestad, Aruba 2019 – 2020
Telearuba is the main broadcast television station in Oranjestad, Aruba, providing News, and Entertainment shows.
Telearuba trusted BIG with the implementation of a multi channel automated playout system in Master Control, a BMS platform, an NRCS system integrated with a MAM and a playout system for their studios. BIG also upgraded Telearuba’s audio infrastructure to Dante capable audio mixers and signal distribution. A Ross switcher and character generators were added and a complete digital upgrade of the sync generation system and supporting infrastructure.
The BIG designed and implemented system has improved their content offer, facilitated and increased their operations and added technical value to their infrastructure.

Trinidad & Tobago Television (TTT Ltd). has engaged BIG to upgrade its current digital media environment and implement a comprehensive, unified digital system that addresses the need for standardization of recording formats, and the upgrade of some areas to High Definition at its facilities in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
Areas addressed in this Phase 1 of the facility upgrade were as follows:

BIG will also design and implement the dedicated broadcast network switching required to accommodate the bandwidth and transport of the high definition content.
Location: West Palm Beach, Florida 2018
Olympusat, provider of content and technology to a growing list of partners and clients, hired BIG to add channels of signals to its Playout center at Culver City, California and integrated them to its current lineup.
BIG, in this engagement worked within a specific area at the Globecast facility in Culver City related to Olympusat operations.
Location: Bridgetown, Barbados 2017
Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) contracted BIG to evaluate its digital media environment and present recommendations regarding infrastructure, hardware, and software. BIG in a phased approach to the station upgrade to High Definition, upgraded areas related to Media Asset Management, 2 Master Control Playout areas, and the supporting hardware needed for these operations. A complement of digital redundant sync generators, quality control monitoring, patch bays , etc. will support this initial limited HD upgrade.
Barbados hosted the Carifesta Festival in 2017 and BIG assisted CBC in the implementation of a dedicated HD channel for the exclusive use of the Carifesta Festival. All events were transmitted “live” to all participation countries.
